Paul Thurman Paul comes from a line of politicians. His great uncle was the mayor of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, and his grandfather ran for US Representative in Kentucky. Paul’s first personal encounter with politics was as the videographer for the city council meetings in his hometown of Centerville, Ohio. He was fascinated from the start. In 2002, Paul campaigned for Mark Nuaimi (R), Mayor of Fontana, California. He recently attended the Republican National Convention held in St. Paul, Minnesota and actively campaigned for the Republican party in the 2008 election. Paul recently became a board member of the Kandiyohi County Republican Party, and is Co chair of the CD 7 Young Republicans club in Minnesota. Combine that with his family’s history in politics, and that gives him a solid foundation for a life devoted to the affairs of the state.
