Annual State Convention

Notice of Dues Expiration

CONVENTION BUSINESS:      

1. Re-Chartering of Local Clubs

2. Consideration of Amendments to the Bylaws

3. Election of Officers to the Executive Board

4. Other Business which may come before the Convention

All MNYR dues expire at each year’s Convention. Annual dues are $30.00. 

You can renew dues on-line with a credit card via Pay Pal on the YR website, www.minnesotayr.com. 

This year we are splitting up the convention and the gala/speaker that typically follows.  This year the convention itself will be held this June and all State Board positions are open, waiting to be filled with young leaders like yourselves.

Here is a brief description of the roles MNYR needs you to fill this June:

State Chairman – liaison with the Republican Party of Minnesota, the Governor’s office, and any National public officials (two year term)

Deputy Chairman – liaison with all campaigns, and with all other state level public officials (one year term)

Congressional District Chair (Formerly First VC) – liaison with all Young Republican Congressional District Chairs (one year term)

Membership Chair (Formerly Second VC) – liaison with all new members, drive new member recruitment, liaison with MNGOP affiliates (one year term)

Treasurer – responsible for managing and distributing MNYR funds (one year term)

Committee Man- represent MNYR at the national level (two year term)

Committee Woman- represent MNYR at the national level (two year term)

Minimum qualifications are you need at least one year's YR membership under your belt and, of course, are a dues-paying member.
