We are thinking about opening up Minnesota YR website up to our members for the very first time. So long as you are a dues-paid member of the Minnesota Young Republicans you can write to Chairman David Berdass (

Our friends over at True North have a model for what we are creating (www.looktruenorth.com). The only difference? We want writers with a young conservative opinion to write about Minnesota politics, national politics, city politics, special issues, frustrations with government, etc.!

Come on out to our next Minnesota Young Republicans Campaign Event for the 2010 Election Season. We will work on name recognition and voter identification in Senate District 43, which is in CD 3. SD 43 is where YR endorsed candidate Norann Dillon is running for the MN Senate against a “moderate, pro-business Democrat.” yeah, ok...
We will be meeting in a school parking lot to pick up our maps, literature and receive instructions on what we are doing. We will then spread out in groups to two precincts of the district.
This is the critical work that needs to be done to lay a winning foundation for all these candidates (including our Statewide Candidates) in November. All YR's are encouraged to attend and I hope to see you all out there!
In the event of rain, we will make voter identification calls from the state Victory Office, 111 Cheshire Lane, Suite 400 in Minnetonka (in the Carlson Office park near the 394 and 494 interchange).

MN Young Republicans Door Knocking Event for YR Member Branden Petersen (House District 49B) and Republican Endorsed Michelle Benson (Senate District 49)
SD49 Show of Force! - Coon Rapids

Time: 10:00am-12:00pm
Location: 550 Nothdale Blvd NW, Coon Rapids, 55448 (back of Jensen's Foods parking lot)
This is a lit drop of key precincts within HD 49B. Our goal is 50 volunteers and at least 5000 lit pices dropped. We will have maps of the key precincts and pre-bundled literature. Show up at 10am let's turn 49B red!
**We will need as many of you as we can to turn out the needed 50 volunteers, so bring a friend!!**
